أبوظبي، 22 فبراير 2023: في إنجاز جديد يضاف إلى إنجازات الدولة والعاصمة أبوظبي، أعلن الاتحاد الدولي للفنون القتالية المختلطة عن فوز اتحاد الإمارات للجوجيتسو والفنون القتالية المختلطة بجائزة أفضل اتحاد مستضيف لعام 2022.

وجاء هذا التكريم بعد نجاح الاتحاد الذي يعتبر الهيئة الرسمية المنظمة لهذه الرياضة في دولة الإمارات باستضافة بطولتين عالميتين في عام واحد، حيث تسلم اتحاد الإمارات للجوجيتسو والفنون القتالية المختلطة الجائزة خلال الاجتماع السنوي للجمعية العمومية للاتحاد الدولي للفنون القتالية المختلطة.

Regarding this achievement, His Excellency Brigadier General Muhammad Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation and Chairman of the Federationâ??s Mixed Martial Arts Committee, says: â??We dedicate this award to our wise leadership, the family of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation headed by His Excellency Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, and the work teams and organizing committees that have established standards.â? â??It is a world-class organization in hosting tournaments amidst great international acclaim.â?

He adds: â??Our selection as the best host association for the year 2022 represents a reward for the continuous efforts made by the work team over the past months. This was the first time ever that any country hosted two world mixed martial arts championships within one year. They are the Senior and Youth World Championships in January and the World Junior Championships in August. This gives us a strong motivation to make more efforts and enhance our distinguished position, especially as Abu Dhabi prepares to host the World Junior Mixed Martial Arts Championship next August.â?

The award was received on behalf of the Federation by Mr. Mohammed Al Hosani, member of the Federationâ??s Martial Arts Committee, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation and Chairman of the Mixed Martial Arts Committee.

وعقدت الجمعية العمومية للاتحاد الدولي لفنون القتال المختلطة اجتماعها يوم الجمعة في فندق كراون بلازا في نوفي بلجراد، بحضور 45 عضواً. وشهد الاجتماع اتخاذ العديد من القرارات بشأن قبول العضوية الكاملة لاتحادات جديدة منها الكويت والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، إضافة إلى قبول أعضاء بصفة مراقب لدول مثل فلسطين وكوريا الجنوبية.
