His Excellency Mohammed Bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Mixed Martial Arts Committee, said: “ We are pleased to organize the Mixed Martial Arts Championship for Juniors at the Shabab Al Ahli Club next Saturday, and about a month before the launch of the biggest event in the sports arena, the World Mixed Martial Arts Championship for Juniors in Abu Dhabi . ”

He added: “The championship falls within the framework of our strategy and plans to sponsor and develop young talents in the country. Here, we commend the role of the clubs and academies that are making great efforts to support and prepare champions and provide them with the best training environment, especially since these athletes are the future of our sport.”

Bin Suleiman stressed that the club’s management is following a strategic plan to advance combat sports and establish a strong base for producing champions and talents, based primarily on investing in age groups and qualifying them in a manner consistent with the club’s ambition to sustain competition for titles.
